Continuing Education Program

Team Select is excited to offer an educational program for all clinicians who meet their roles’ full-time (or full-time equivalent) requirements. Clinicians in the field and administrative positions seeking continuing education with future, job-related coursework are eligible for up to $1,000 each year.

Eligibility and Program Details

The following is a list of requirements for clinicians seeking Continued Education:

  • Clinical Nursing degree coursework must be through a program accredited by The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). Alternate accrediting bodies are considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Undergraduate or graduate coursework may be conducted in person, online, or through hybrid learning.
  • Coursework must contribute value to the current job/role. Courses that cover topics offered through existing platforms, such as Relias, will not be approved.
  • Basic coursework that is required for licensure and patient care, such as CPR certifications, will not be approved.
  • Requirements for clinicians in Clinical Field Roles include a minimum of 130 hours or 94 visits, the equivalent of direct patient care worked per calendar month during the previous 3-month period. * A newer employee must meet the monthly minimum hours/visits requirement for three consecutive months to qualify.
  • Receive up to $1,000 PEPY

Student Loan Repayment Program

Available for Eligible Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs).

The purpose of the Student Loan Repayment Program is to:

  • Financial Relief: our program eases the financial burden of student loans for nurses, providing peace of mind and allowing you to focus on patient care.
  • Community Impact: we support you in overcoming student loan challenges, while you take care of your patients and make a lasting difference in their lives.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Graduated nursing school after 01/01/2021.
  • Have active student loans.
  • Work at least 130 hours / 80 visits of direct patient care each month.

Eligibility and Program Details

New Graduate Training Program

Available for Eligible Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs).

The purpose of the New Graduate Training Program is to:

  • Provide new nurses with the tools, support, and guidance as they begin their careers.
  • Review relevant, real-life scenarios.
  • Experience through simulation and hands-on skill development.

Eligibility and Program Details

To qualify for the New Graduate Training Program, you must:

  • Be an RN/LPN with less than 12 months of nursing experience.
  • Have active State Licensure.

The New Graduate Training Program:

  • It is an 8-week program (16 weeks in California only) designed to prepare a nurse with less than 12 months of nursing experience to transition into a professional nursing career in home health.
  • Provides clinical lab and on-the-job training alongside experienced nurse preceptors.
  • Includes clinical mentorship, hands-on training, emergency planning scenarios, and communication on our report line.
  • Progresses from shadow to training to solo shifts, as appropriate.
  • Combines classroom, virtual, and self-study.
  • It provides the opportunity to be exposed to and trained to care for patients with various acuity levels.
